I stumbled on the state’s tourism site for the “Pennsylvania Wilds” while looking for information about the geology of the Clarion River.  The state cooked up the “Pennsylvania Wilds” brand to try to drive tourism to the north-central region of the state, and frankly, I think it makes for one of the nobler causes an advertising agency can undertake.  The more people have contact with the more-than-human world, the more they’ll value that, and the more they’ll demand that we protect that.  For locals, seeing some tourist dollars coming in could start to give them an idea of a different way to relate to the forest.  I wouldn’t call it rewilding exactly, but I would call it a decent start.  So I love to see such an excellent site dedicated to that proposition, and as a web designer, I have to commend them for putting together such an impressive one. - Jason
